And what physilogical effects would the CO2 have on the body? carbon dioxide will increase the acidity of blood because carbonic acid is increased (since it is not expelled out). a slight change in the blood pH will kill a person through acidosis. the same thing happens in diabetes mellitus or kidney failures or ketosis. oxygen is not delivered properly. |
