Body Carbon
What are the effect of carbon dioxide on the human body?

If someone is locked in an unventilated room, how fast would the levels of carbon dioxide reach a fatal level? And what physilogical effects would the CO2 have on the body?

carbon dioxide will increase the acidity of blood because carbonic acid is increased (since it is not expelled out). a slight change in the blood pH will kill a person through acidosis. the same thing happens in diabetes mellitus or kidney failures or ketosis. oxygen is not delivered properly.
