how do i hook up 2 computers i got the wireless n router with usb adapter kit?

how do i hook up 2 computers to the internet
i got the wireless n router with usb adapter kit ??? step by step or a link ty
i have 2 pcs one has a usb connected to my cable modem and the other is just sitting there.....ive tried rebooting but i dont think that the ethernet cords being reconized....

hook up one computer to the wireless router and the other one should have a wireless card/reciver of some sort
